Today the club held the annual Mangawhai Optometrist Tournament. The weather was great with a good turnout of teams.
Winning teams today –

2nd. Lee Hunt, Liz West and Tina Harris.
3rd. Allan Stebben, Carol Stebben and Ally Connery.

Special thanks to Jill and Liz for organising the tournament and special mention to Rawi and her team in the kitchen. Thanks also to all the members for bringing a plate making afternoon tea the wonderful spread it was. Thank you to MANGAWHAI OPTOMETRISTS for their very generous sponsorship. We were also lucky to receive vouchers for free eye checks at their clinic in the village. With some bowls going wayward today they may be very timely indeed !
