New Bowler Nicky Third transferred from Auckland 2nd in First Year Singles with Four Wins. John Parker finished with Three Wins. There were only 2 players to win all four games. G. Brooks from Leigh won. In the Ladies there were no Four winners. Christine Mcintyre did the Club proud and came 4th overall.

A good field of both Women & Men’s Pairs played over two days in windy conditions. Winners for the Women were Christine Lineham & Elaine Hamber (Two Lives) over Helen Bailey & Fran Waterhouse. Men’s Winners were:- Terry Mathews & Kevin Thomlinson (Two Lives) over Brian Symons & James Emslie in a very tight match
