Congratulations to Glen Wintle on winning the Centre Junior Singles recently.  In a close-fought final, Glen beat Les Scott (Onerahi) 21-18. Congratulations, also, to Ken McLeod and Kiwi Stewart on reaching the knock-out stage.

The semifinals were played before the rain set, with Kiwi Stewart and Steve Bolton reaching the final. Kiwi had a close match with Graham Egerton and Steve only pipped John Bottomley with his last bowl. The final will be postponed, as Steve has injured his leg.

The Club Championship First Year Singles was held on Saturday 18 March Winner:    Keith “Kiwi” Stewart        Runner up:     Kelvin “Ralph” Wilson Congratulations to all four who took part.
